Upload your topper artwork and the tool measures it in your browser, then models the sheet you are printing on: the white point of the blank sheet, the darkest black your ink set can mix, how much ink the sheet holds before it bleeds, how far the dots spread as they dry, and how much of your colour the medium can actually reproduce. It shows the predicted print side by side, uncorrected against corrected, and exports a file that is pre compensated for that surface with the physical print size written into the file so it prints at true size instead of being scaled by your printer software.

This tool predicts print behaviour from medium profiles. It is not food safety, allergen, or cottage food guidance, and results vary with your printer, ink age, and sheet brand. Print a test before committing a large order.

• Why do my edible images print dull or washed out?
• Edible inks reproduce a much narrower colour range than a screen, and sugar sheets absorb ink so it dries back lighter. Sending an unadjusted file means the sheet subtracts saturation you never accounted for. This tool measures how much the medium will take away and boosts the file to compensate before you print.
• Why does black print brown or green on my edible printer?
• Many edible ink sets have no black cartridge, so black is mixed from cyan, magenta, and yellow. That composite reads as a warm brown grey and soaks the sheet. Set the ink set to CMY only and the tool will show you the real result and correct the mix toward neutral.
• What DPI should an edible image be?
• 300 DPI at the finished print size is the practical target. A 3 inch topper wants roughly 900 pixels across. The tool reports the true DPI your file delivers at the size you actually plan to print, not the number stored in the file.
• Is my image uploaded anywhere?
• No. The image is read, analysed, corrected, and exported entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so there is no queue, no account, and no limit on how many images you run.
• Why does my topper print at the wrong size?
• Browser exports normally carry no physical resolution, so print software assumes 96 DPI and scales the image up. The download from this tool writes the real resolution into the file, so a 3 inch topper places as 3 inches when you print at 100 percent.
• Does it work for wafer paper and chocolate transfer sheets?
• Yes. Each surface has its own profile for ink limit, dot gain, colour range, and drying. Chocolate transfer sheets also print mirrored, so the exported file is flipped for you.
• Can I use it for cupcake toppers and full cake wraps?
• Yes. Set the finished size you need and the tool reports how many fit on a letter or A4 sheet and how many sheets the order takes.
